Leo Lewis, Ballet Instructo
Leo Lewis began dancing at Champaign Ballet Academy in 2011 after being inspired to follow in the footsteps of his older brother, Oscar Lewis. In this time, Leo has danced in a multitude of Champaign Urbana Ballet Productions. In The Nutcracker, he has performed in the roles of Polichinelle, Mouse, Soldier, Dragon Head, The Nutcracker Prince, and Rat, In Swan Lake as Pas de Trois male and Neapolitan, In The Sleeping Beauty as Puss in boots, in Cinderella as the Carriage Boy, and in The Little Mermaid as a Water Dragon. His ballet teaching and assisting adventure began in 2023 with the Boys Ballet class, where male students of all ages and experience levels participated in weekly class together. Leo is currently a Freshman at the University of Illinois and adores the community at Champaign Ballet Academy!
