Ages 13-25. Committed young men and women maintain an intense and rewarding schedule in preparation for upcoming performances and potential professional careers. Students attend class daily and work for mastery of technique, speed, fluidity, and artistry. Dancers enjoy increased responsibility within the academy and Champaign Urbana Ballet. Students who show exemplary leadership are given the opportunity to become part of the Teacher Training Program. Some students decide at this point to pursue a professional ballet career, while others look toward using the skills acquired at CBA to enhance their college careers.
